Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and validate complex PNT algorithms for satellite constellations and laser communication systems.
  • •Create reference models and simulations of the algorithms using C code to verify mathematical models.
  • •Specify and document PNT algorithms as the basis for gateware specifications.
  • •Coordinate SW and GW development, including verification and bring-up on the corresponding hardware.
  • •Generate VHDL code for timing and ranging functionality in FPGAs and keep SW/GW release plans consistent, including technical documentation creation and release.

Key Requirements

  • •Academic degree in communication engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, or a related field (Master/Diploma/PhD).
  • •Expertise in navigation algorithms, especially Pointing, Navigation & Timing (PNT).
  • •Strong experience in algorithmic modeling (ideally in C) and direct hardware implementation (VHDL/FPGA).
  • •Experience as a technical system responsible (Technical Responsible) in complex embedded projects.
  • •Excellent German and English communication skills in both written and spoken form.
