Job Summary

Represent manufacturing forces and collaborate with global teams to drive OSAT performance and meet business and engineering objectives. Work with tier-1 suppliers on OSAT manufacturing issues, manage NPI implementation (transfer, enabling, qualification, and production release), and support yield, cycle time, throughput, and POR efficiency. Troubleshoot test hardware and equipment problems on-site, analyze yields, coordinate maintenance and ramp activities, and ensure test hardware quality through KPI monitoring and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Represent AMD’s manufacturing forces and collaborate with worldwide teams to drive OSAT performance and business/engineering objectives.
•Manage NPI implementation to OSAT, including product transfer, enabling, NPI qualification involvement, engineering data collection, and low-volume to mass production release.
•Conduct on-site trouble shooting of equipment and test hardware issues (tester, handler, prober, ATC, probe card, load board, interface board, socket, change kits, Burn-In boards).
•Perform yield analysis to identify problematic test setups/equipment and coordinate with supplier engineering to drive recovery using DOE and KPI tracking.
•Monitor and maintain test hardware quality by tracking KPI trends, matrices, yields, and maintenance records; provide weekly OSAT status reviews and updates for management.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree required in Electronics & Electrical, Automation, or Computer science.
•Fluency in English and Mandarin with excellent communication skills.
•Hands-on experience in program management, test hardware troubleshooting, and maintenance in a fast-paced engineering environment.
•Excellent working knowledge of Advantest 93000 PS400/800/1600 tester for characterization and production testing.
•Very familiar with TEL Precio/Prexa prober, Hontech handler, Delta Summit handler, and ATC (configuration and setup); knowledge of Advantest GS1 handler is a plus.
