Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct regular reviews of access rights across key Financial Crime systems, including deep dives on users, permissions, and access request ticket handling with privacy considerations.
  • •Identify risks and issues via read-across and impact assessment, then recommend and execute remediating actions.
  • •Ensure new privacy rules and regulations are appropriately reflected across key Financial Crime systems and controls.
  • •Maintain access on a least-privilege, need-to-know basis using approvals, segregation of duties, recertification, and privacy-by-design controls in line with policy and regulatory requirements.
  • •Maintain operational procedures, control evidence and MI, support Audit/Assurance activity, and partner with stakeholders and Technology to simplify access journeys and increase automation, including AI-enabled capabilities.

Key Requirements

  • •Knowledge of data privacy concepts, including why privacy matters and common data-sharing principles.
  • •IAM/access controls knowledge, including user access lifecycle, least privilege, access control approaches, and reviews/recertification.
  • •Strong risk and controls mindset: follow control procedures, document evidence, identify exceptions, and assess what prevents/detects risks.
  • •Analytical and problem-solving skills to break down access/privacy issues, interpret logs/reports, and identify root causes.
  • •Strong Jira and Confluence experience, with ability to translate business requirements into technical outcomes (epics and stories).
