Job Summary

Provide shift-based support and repairs for machinery across production areas, including troubleshooting issues and performing timely upkeep and preventive maintenance. Manage work orders via an automated tracking system and maintain accurate records while ensuring repair parts are stocked. Support equipment improvements, perform daily PMs, and uphold Food Safety (GMP) requirements, safety, and housekeeping standards in a high-speed manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform maintenance on all machinery during shift and troubleshoot plant maintenance issues as requested.
•Provide timely repairs, upkeep, and preventive maintenance, including daily PMs that are performed and recorded.
•Use the MRO system to remove/return parts from inventory and ensure adequate repair parts are stocked.
•Enter Work Order Requests into automated tracking and maintain accurate recordkeeping and reporting.
•Maintain the Food Safety Program (GMP) and follow housekeeping and safety standards; communicate deviations and report safety concerns.

Key Requirements

•3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience as a maintenance mechanic in a high-speed assembly production environment.
•Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
•Ability to fabricate and perform basic design work, and to troubleshoot/correct complex mechanical machine issues.
•Proficiency using computers for work order tracking and an MRO system, including using automated scanning equipment.
•Ability to verify equipment conditions (air pressure, water temperature/pressure), detect leaks, and react correctly to prevent contamination.
