Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the Power Management technology roadmap and architecture evolution across hearing instruments and chargers.
  • •Define end-to-end architecture, principles, interfaces, and system boundaries for safe, reliable, efficient, and scalable power-management behavior.
  • •Create reusable concepts and reference architectures to ensure consistency and reuse across product families and future platform generations.
  • •Set architectural direction for BMS and product-level behavior, including battery-state interpretation, runtime strategy, thermal response, protection, fault handling, telemetry, diagnostics, and communication.
  • •Lead cross-domain architecture alignment and manage technical trade-offs across battery cell technology, SoC/PMIC, embedded software, charging solutions, system integration, and safety/quality/regulatory/product teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •Significant experience in power management, BMS, PMIC applications, charging systems, embedded electronics, or system architecture.
  • •Strong understanding of rechargeable battery behavior, protection and charging strategies, thermal constraints, state estimation, runtime optimization, low-power concepts, and safety mechanisms.
  • •Ability to translate component-level capabilities and constraints into end-to-end product architecture and system behavior.
  • •Experience working across hardware, firmware, software, battery, charger, safety, quality, regulatory, and product domains.
