  • •Lead, mentor, and grow a world-class engineering team, guiding senior engineers across endpoint internals, prevention engineering, and machine learning.
  • •Own the roadmap and drive delivery by deciding where to invest in visibility and protection engines, balancing efficacy, performance, and stability.
  • •Direct the team’s machine learning work, setting direction on model development, training data quality, and telemetry features.
  • •Drive cross-platform protection parity across Windows, macOS, and Linux while staying ahead of emerging OS security APIs and hardware architectures.
  • •Represent the team externally by supporting conference presentations and publishing, and engaging with customers and partners on protection capabilities.

Key Requirements

  • •People-leadership experience managing senior technical individual contributors on a globally distributed team, with a track record of growing people.
  • •Substantial hands-on security research experience, including analyzing attacker TTPs and building and shipping endpoint protections at scale.
  • •Strong operating system internals knowledge in both kernel and user mode (Windows most needed; macOS or Linux close behind).
  • •Hands-on reverse engineering and malware analysis experience, including reading disassembly and evaluating threats for investment.
  • •Clear communication for technical and executive audiences, comfortable writing and distilling deeply technical work for non-experts.
