Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure the site complies with relevant local laws and regulations and maintains ISO 14001 certification.
  • •Translate company standards into practical workplace solutions; investigate incidents and near-misses and drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • •Own timely reporting of business KPIs, HSE performance statistics, and implementation of annual strategic improvement plans.
  • •Lead the transformation of the safety culture on-site and coordinate training and instruction measures.
  • •Perform workplace risk/exposure assessments, participate in internal/external audits, implement emergency programs, and chair/lead HSE meetings; act as Head BHV and keep the BHV plan, organization, resources, and knowledge up to date.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering (BSc) with an added qualification/certification in environmental sciences, health & safety management or a related field (e.g., NEBOSH).
  • •Progressive EHS experience with demonstrable knowledge of managing a broad spectrum of risks.
  • •Significant experience in a leadership role with a strong EHS background (industrial production preferred: food, chemical, pharma, or similar).
  • •Strong knowledge of Dutch EHS regulations.
  • •Knowledge of ATEX regulations and best practices.
