Job Summary

Provide basic physical labor for the placement and finishing of concrete, ensuring the finished product matches architectural specifications and structural concrete principles. In training/transition toward becoming a Top Finisher, you’ll assist gunite crews with jobsite setup and breakdown, help protect surrounding property and the environment, and safely operate power equipment and hand tools while following construction safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure safety on the jobsite.
•Report to work on time when scheduled.
•Safely operate power equipment and hand tools in accordance with safety standards and structural concrete principles.
•Assist gunite crew with placement of plastic to protect surrounding equipment and work areas.
•Assist gunite crew with setup/breakdown of jobsite tools and equipment and ensure finished product meets architectural specifications.

Key Requirements

•Preferred 1+ year(s) of prior Bottom Finisher experience, but not required.
•Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to the construction industry.

•Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
•Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions, including learning to read and follow blueprints.
