Operate machinery on the production floor to cover vacation and absenteeism, performing all department jobs and running required machines. Document machine settings, weights, and other required data on paper and in a computer-based system, while assembling, disassembling, and cleaning equipment as needed. Follow safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements, maintain accurate records, rotate through applicable positions, and communicate issues to lead and supervisors.
