Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead electrical design and delivery for transportation, commercial, institutional, and industrial infrastructure projects from concept through construction.
  • •Oversee design of power distribution, fire alarm, grounding, lightning protection, emergency power, and life safety systems.
  • •Prepare engineering calculations, technical specifications, contract documents, design reports, and professional sealed deliverables.
  • •Collaborate with project managers, clients, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve objectives and strengthen long-term relationships.
  • •Manage multiple projects, conduct design reviews and quality assurance, and provide technical oversight to ensure compliance with codes and client requirements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: $ 104,500 - 151,800

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
  • •10 to 15 years of progressive experience designing electrical systems for transportation, commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.
  • •Expertise in power distribution, fire alarm systems, grounding, lightning protection, emergency power, and life safety systems.
  • •Strong knowledge of Ontario Building Code (OBC), Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC), Canadian Electrical Code (CEC), CSA, NFPA, IEEE, and ASHRAE.
  • •Experience leading projects through DBB, DB, P3, AFP, Alliance, or similar delivery models.
