Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Assist the superior in procuring Materials, Equipment’s, Equipment hire, Labour Hire, Subcontracts and Services to the job site according to the company's purchasing policies and procedures
•Obtain and review quotes from Suppliers, and make recommendations to the Senior Officer Purchase.
•Place orders with Suppliers and ensure timely delivery of Materials, Equipment’s, Equipment hire, Labour Hire, Subcontracts and Services to the job site
•Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases and inventory
•Monitor supplier performance to ensure timely delivery and quality of products
•Work closely with Divisional Managers, Project Managers, Site Managers and other team members so as to understand the material / service requirements in order procure the same as per the site requirements
•Identify potential cost savings opportunities and report them to the superiors
•Ensure compliance with all specification and quantities required for the project including regulatory and legal requirements
•Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors in order to improve purchase experience
•Continuously evaluate and improve the procurement process to increase efficiency and reduce costs
•Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Officer Purchase / Management

Key Requirements

•Qualifications: Graduation preferably in Commerce / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
•Supply chain certification would be a plus
•Experience: 5 years of experience in Project materials purchase in an Electrical Contracting Company – Dealing in High Voltage, Low Voltage, Solar, Energy Savings etc.
•Proficient in ERP – MM Module, SAP would be plus.
•Knowledge & Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel & MS Office
•Strong organizational and time management skills
•Strong attention to detail and accuracy
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•Knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and supply chain management
•Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
