Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute APC/plant-wide optimizer projects end-to-end: assessment, kick-off, pre-test, plant test, design, modeling, configuration, installation, commissioning, and post-audit.
  • •Implement RMPCT APC technologies and related monitoring tools as a lead consultant/engineer.
  • •Perform APC studies, proof-of-concepts/trials, and provide onsite user training.
  • •Review and update economic targets for advanced controllers; recommend configuration changes such as variables and constraints; incorporate new economic indicators.
  • •Identify faulty regulatory control loops at the DCS level and tune existing controllers; coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve issues and support sales/marketing growth.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience in refining/petrochemical/MMM industry.
  • •Background in Chemical Engineering principles and operations.
  • •Knowledge of regulatory control and advanced control, including optimization principles.
  • •Experience with Advanced Process Control/Plant wide Optimizer and DCS/real-time database technologies.
  • •Good communication and writing skills; ability to work with customers and train others.
