Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to mechanical product design for NPI/VAVE residential circuit breaker products, loadcenters, and accessories to meet UL/NEMA/ROHS requirements.
  • •Participate in concept selection, material selection, and design optimization activities, including leading 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
  • •Execute prototype builds and performance testing to evaluate product performance against customer requirements before product launch.
  • •Perform design optimization using DFSS methods/tools (e.g., VOC, Design Scorecard, CTQs, DFMEA, DFMA, verification plans, DOEs) for robust design.
  • •Support product development testing and investigations, drive DFM reviews for manufacturing readiness, coordinate technical reviews, and lead testing visits to external labs (ERDA, CPRI, UL).
