Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical, managerial, and financial support to Principal Consultants and Associate Directors on transport planning projects.
  • •Technically lead traffic modelling tasks, developing models, calibrating and validating, and producing reports and presentations.
  • •Support project delivery by preparing scope and fee estimates and helping ensure budgets and KPIs are met.
  • •Assist in developing and testing innovative tools and modelling techniques, including data analysis, visualisation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • •Mentor junior staff, support their professional development, and provide client liaison.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong experience using microsimulation modelling software such as Vissim.
  • •Experience with junction modelling software such as LinSig.
  • •Strong numerical and analytical skills with good data collection and analysis ability.
  • •Ability to deal with complex modelling issues and produce high-technical-standard reports.
  • •Relevant BSc/MSc/BEng Civil Engineering or Transport planning degree.
