Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, prepare, and deliver theoretical, practical, laboratory, workshop, and simulation-based training in line with approved curricula and learning outcomes.
  • •Use varied teaching methodologies (including demonstrations, practical exercises, projects, discussions, problem-based learning, and technology-enhanced learning) and supervise safe use of training equipment.
  • •Monitor learner progress, coach and mentor students, conduct formative/summative assessments, and maintain accurate records, attendance, and progress documentation in required timescales.
  • •Support courseware development and continuous improvement by reviewing and enhancing instructional materials, assessments, and learning resources to keep content technically accurate and aligned with requirements.
  • •Demonstrate health, safety, environmental, and security (SHE) behaviours, operate within organisational processes, and maintain professional conduct and effective engagement in a military training environment.

Key Requirements

  • •Recognised qualification at UK Level 4 or above in a relevant discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
  • •Minimum 5 years’ demonstrable industrial/defence experience and technical competence in the relevant subject area.
  • •Minimum 2 years’ experience delivering technical/vocational/engineering/defence training in a structured learning environment.
  • •Competent in using Microsoft Office applications and digital technologies to support training delivery and administration.
  • •Knowledge and capability to deliver undergraduate-level cybersecurity and related subjects, including practical lab/workshop instruction.
