Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain cleanliness of the hotel’s linen supply.
  • •Sort laundry, remove damaged/stained items, and load washers and dryers to recommended weights.
  • •Follow proper settings and procedures for laundry equipment; use equipment and chemicals according to safety procedures.
  • •Monitor water usage and inform a supervisor of equipment failures or supply shortages.
  • •Press and fold linens and uniforms correctly per garment labels; maintain laundry room cleanliness and comply with sanitation, health, and safety rules.
