Job Summary

Join RTX as a Human Factors Engineer II in an onsite role supporting a closed area program with the LCE team. You will develop MIL-STD-1472 compliant HF programs, perform HF analyses, lead HF efforts across product teams to mitigate hazards, coordinate with customer HF reps to align system requirements, and interface with Systems, Software, Electrical and Hardware engineering to ensure design integration.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop MIL-STD-1472 compliant Human Factors programs and implement them.
•Perform MIL-STD-1472 Human Factors program tasks and analyses.
•Lead Human Factors Engineering efforts across integrated product teams to eliminate hazards or provide effective controls.
•Coordinate with customer human factors representatives to clarify system requirements and ensure design allocation across software, hardware and test personnel.
•Interpreting system requirements, customer specifications and standards; preparing internal and customer HF reports.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

•The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance (Secret)
