Job Summary

Finance Manager - Japan oversees the Japan finance function, provides business support to Japan finance and other functions (R&D, Sales, Technical Support) to ensure policy compliance, liaises with suppliers/customers/3rd parties, collaborates with APAC finance and US tax/GL/FP&A, and performs financial analysis and reporting to support the business.

Key Responsibilities

•Reporting to the APJ Finance Director based in Beijing, China.
•Provide business support and advice to Japan finance and other functions (R&D, Sales, Technical Support) to ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
•Liaise with suppliers, customers and third-party service providers to ensure Fortinet policies are understood and followed.
•Work closely with APAC finance, US tax, GL, FP&A and cost accounting teams to meet information requests and reporting requirements.
•Perform financial analysis and provide financial reports/support as required.

Key Requirements

•Degree in accounting, finance or related disciplines; chartered/certified accountant preferred
•5-10 years’ experience in full spectrum of accounting/finance function, preferably with a US multinational company
•3-5 years’ experience in a managerial role
•In-depth knowledge and experience in US and Japanese GAAP
•Hands on experience with MS Office and computerized accounting systems; Oracle experience preferred
