Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform intake for Toxin orders, including reviewing orders, adding patients to the patient tracker, obtaining clinical requirements, and communicating with prescribers about required documentation.
  • •Verify and document insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage for Toxin services, including obtaining authorization and pre-certification.
  • •Support denial mitigation steps such as peer-to-peer reviews and appeals, and maintain knowledge of authorization requirements and regulatory guidelines for payers.
  • •Calculate and communicate patient financial responsibility and provide financial assistance support by identifying patient assistance programs and enrolling patients in manufacturer copay assistance.
  • •Coordinate patient scheduling and drug ordering ahead of appointments, document inventory usage in stock/sample logs, and keep the toxin patient tracker updated.
