Key Responsibilities

•Support the bid/project manager in monitoring the bid/project as an efficient business partner and validate all decisions impacting financials in accordance with Thales Management & Financial Control Manual
•Initialisation of the project (reviewing the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS), allocating the total budget, implementing management tools and structuring management of risks and opportunities), defining the sales and margin recognition method
•Coordinate the project’s financial components and reporting, in cooperation with project management office, industrial controller, operation controller, legal & commercial and sales administration
•Ensure correct accounting of transactions in compliance with accounting, legal, and tax standards
•Handle day-to-day treatment of financial operations and monitoring of revenue and cash-flow

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent degree in accounting (member of a professional accounting body or comparable)
•Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards (IFRS)

•Experience with audit processes and internal controls is highly preferred
