Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure the schedule aligns with NEC4 contract requirements, including works information and agreed secondary options.
  • •Review and accept the contractor’s programme, monitor progress against the accepted programme, and assess time impacts of compensation events.
  • •Monitor progress and identify potential delays or schedule issues early.
  • •Work with the contractor to develop and maintain a realistic and achievable programme, including mitigation of time and cost risks.
  • •Provide regular schedule updates and reports, and prepare progress, claims, and other NEC4-required documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience working with NEC4 contracts, including schedule-related clauses, compensation events, and early warning notices.
  • •Proficiency reviewing and managing construction schedules and experience with Primavera P6.
  • •Proven ability to assess and manage compensation events, including evaluating time and cost impacts.
  • •Ability to analyse schedules, identify issues, and work with teams to develop practical solutions.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management (or equivalent technical degree) and/or minimum 10+ years’ experience.
