Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain, ensure, and improve an accurate measuring and testing system.
  • •Establish and develop gauges/measurement techniques for new molds and support mold qualification across metrological and physical properties.
  • •Assist and/or coordinate CQV processes on-site as needed and participate in product development teams as a subject matter expert.
  • •Provide testing services to customers and develop quality assurance testing programs; read and interpret product drawings to determine specifications and measurement locations.
  • •Perform Measurement System Analysis (Gauge R&R and Correlation Studies), investigate new measurement equipment technology, train laboratory personnel, and travel to manufacturing sites for support and training.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent quality experience, with closely related industrial experience substitutable for degree relevance.
  • •Certification as ASQ CQE required or will be obtained (CQE preferred).
  • •Strong organizational and communication skills, with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • •Computer skills including Minitab, Excel, Word, CPro, and SharePoint.
  • •Experience in statistical processes and auditing, plus plastic processing experience (injection molding, thermoforming, or blow molding preferred).
