Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure customer orders are shipped according to the daily schedule and maintain day-to-day Shipping Department operations.
  • •Follow plant safety and GMP policies and ISO quality management guidelines.
  • •Distribute workload among team members and perform put away, picker, checking, and loading functions as needed.
  • •Process JDE documentation: print orders, create BOLs, file according to ISO, and perform Transportation Management Service (TMC) functions.
  • •Train employees and coordinate with warehouse coordinators/assistance supervisor/manager, including resolving freight issues (tracking, POD) and creating shipping labels.

Key Requirements

  • •2 to 3 years related experience in a Shipping/Warehouse office with knowledge of product distribution activities.
  • •Ability to multi-task while following plant safety, GMP, and ISO quality management guidelines.
  • •Ability to read and interpret documents and instructions, and to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and truck drivers.
  • •Basic knowledge of computers, including experience with JDE, data entry, MS Office, and Internet.
  • •Must be highly motivated, able to work independently, and willing to work overtime and weekends when volume dictates.
