Job Summary

Design and deliver mechanical building systems across healthcare, commercial, higher education, and civic projects. Support HVAC, air distribution, hydronic, and plumbing design, and help run projects from concept through construction close-out. Interpret site conditions and technical documents to develop engineering solutions, producing reports, specifications, and design documentation that comply with applicable codes and healthcare requirements. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, support client interactions, and mentor junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform mechanical engineering design and technical delivery across healthcare, commercial, higher education, and civic projects.
•Support design of HVAC, air distribution, hydronic, plumbing, and building systems.
•Participate in the full project lifecycle from concept development through construction and close-out.
•Analyze and interpret site conditions, drawings, and technical documents to support engineering solutions.
•Prepare technical reports, specifications, and design documentation, ensuring designs comply with applicable codes and standards; collaborate across teams and mentor junior staff.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
•5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical design for building systems.
•Experience supporting projects across healthcare and/or commercial, higher education, or civic sectors.
•Strong understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical design principles.
•Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD, with experience from design through construction.
