Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, analyze, and disposition repairs for structural non-conformances to restore A220 design integrity across sub-assembly, final line, and preflight areas.
  • •Rapidly design repairs based on equivalent strength/stiffness of surrounding structure in a production schedule-driven environment.
  • •Interpret engineering drawings and specifications, providing guidance to Methods and Production employees.
  • •Adhere to A220 MRB and Quality Assurance (QA) procedures.
  • •Lead internal audits according to ISO standards, Transport Canada, NADCAP, and Six Sigma.

Key Requirements

  • •University or college degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • •Minimum five (5) years of experience in Material Review Board (MRB) or airframe design in aerospace.
  • •In-depth knowledge of aircraft structures and system installation technical requirements.
  • •Practical working experience using V5.
  • •Bilingual (English and French).
