Job Summary

Build and grow consumer and business customer relationships in a branch banking environment by identifying customer financial goals and recommending appropriate deposit, loan, and other banking products. Use a disciplined sales process, appointments, Centers of Influence, follow-up, and referrals to retain and expand relationships. Help customers optimize online, mobile, and ATM banking, maintain product knowledge, and adhere to operational, security, risk, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues.
•Proactively identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through appointments, Centers of Influence, a disciplined sales process, follow-up, and referrals.
•Educate and refer customers to other bank areas to deepen relationships and build internal partnerships.
•Educate customers on optimizing bank technology use, including online, mobile, and ATM banking.
•Maintain knowledge of products, services, technology, and policies, and adhere to operational, security, risk, and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or GED and minimum of 1 year customer service and sales in banking, financial services, goal-driven retail sales, or business-to-business sales (or military service in a related role).
•Must provide fingerprints as required by NMLS regulations as part of additional background check requirements.
•Bachelor's Degree and 1 year or more in customer service and sales in banking, financial services, goal-driven retail sales, or business-to-business sales (preferred).
•Ability to build, deepen, and retain relationships (preferred).
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfort with technology such as mobile and online banking services (preferred).
