Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect and build a high-availability “Yield Engine” for billions in assets, including bankruptcy-protected custody and near-instant liquidity.
  • •Deliver a zero-to-one greenfield investing platform enabling customers to invest in individual stocks and build tax-beneficial money pots (ISAs and SIPPs).
  • •Define technical foundations, brokerage infrastructure, and trading interfaces from the ground up.
  • •Collaborate with PMs, Designers, and Analysts to decide what to build and shape strategy and code quality.
  • •Handle high-concurrency systems with a focus on data integrity, consistency, and operational excellence.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong product mindset with a focus on user experience and data-driven decisions to fix customer pain points.
  • •Experience developing web applications and distributed systems in a production environment.
  • •Ability to break down complex projects into incremental milestones that deliver customer value.
  • •Experience with common design and architectural patterns, plus a passion for clean, performant, well-tested code.
  • •Knowledge of Java and Spring Boot; experience with messaging systems like Kafka is a plus.
