Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee facilities management, including investigating and purchasing office supplies and equipment, and maintain facility accounting records consistent with GAAP and company policies.
  • •Prepare journal entries and coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accruals and closing requirements while supporting owner and regulatory needs.
  • •Manage plant payroll for a team of five and produce financial reports, statistical/accounting information, and ad hoc and routine reporting.
  • •Conduct variance analysis versus budget, perform economic analyses of projects, and provide business recommendations to appraise operating results.
  • •Manage vendor and inventory relationships, coordinate RFQs/quotes, use SAP for work orders and purchase orders, and serve as point-of-contact for accounting, tax, and SOX audits.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field plus 4 years of related business experience, or an Associate’s degree plus 6 years of relevant business experience.
  • •Maintain facility accounting records in accordance with GAAP and owner/regulatory/NRG policies and procedures.
  • •Prepare journal entries and coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accruals and closing requirements.
  • •Be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint and learn required computer software systems and reporting processes.
  • •Valid Driver’s License.
