Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist leadership technically to deliver multi-discipline projects and coordinate technical delivery activities.
  • •Ensure projects are delivered per contract requirements while identifying, communicating, and managing relevant Health and Safety risks.
  • •Actively develop external and internal client relationships and coordinate with subcontractors/resources remote from the core project team.
  • •Identify and mitigate technical risks and ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met.
  • •Prepare and validate technical proposals and technical documents/calculations using cable modeling tools (CYMCAP), including bonding/earth continuity/co-axial selection and layouts.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline, preferably Electrical or Power engineering.
  • •5–10 years of experience in the design, manufacture, and testing of HV cables.
  • •Experience with HV cable system design and ratings, including HVDC projects (onshore and offshore) is desirable.
  • •Knowledge of IEC cable standards and CIGRE technical policies/specifications, with capability to act as a cable expert.
  • •Preparation, review, and validation of technical proposals for Transmission & Distribution projects; working towards Chartered Engineer status is desirable.
