Job Summary

Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, delivering personalized, ongoing service while selling and providing retail banking solutions across banking, mortgage, planning, investments, and insurance. Build and deepen relationships through sound personal financial planning and advisory analysis, leverage referrals for client acquisition, and meet revenue growth, profitability, and retention goals within audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, delivering ongoing personalized service and selling retail banking products and services.
•Establish and update understanding of clients’ financial needs using personal financial planning analysis, partnering with financial advisors on investment accounts and asset allocation objectives.
•Stay current on economic, legal, and investment trends; serve as a personal financial planning/advisory resource to clients and their attorneys and CPAs.
•Drive revenue growth, profitability, and retention by acquiring new clients, expanding services, marketing new products, and managing sales activity and pipeline in the contact management system.
•Collaborate with Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) specialists and external centers of influence, and operate within audit, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent financial services experience and training.
•Minimum five years of financial services experience working with clients in banking, investments, and/or retail lending, or one year in a financial client relationship manager role.
•Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory, insurance, investment management, and asset allocation concepts for mass affluent clients.
•Active and maintained Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65 in lieu of 66), applicable insurance licenses (Life, Health, Variable), and SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliance with NMLS background check.
•Strong interpersonal, sales, relationship management, and communication skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
