Job Summary

Own and grow Link’s payments partnerships with card networks, card issuers, and local payment method providers. Define partnership strategy, negotiate commercial agreements, and drive technical integrations to expand Link’s acceptance and improve authorization performance. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Risk, and Security to shape Link’s payments roadmap, enable agentic commerce, and align partner executive stakeholders.

Job Function: Business Development & Partnerships

Key Responsibilities

•Define and execute Link’s payments partnership strategy across card networks, card issuers, and local payment methods.
•Negotiate and manage commercial agreements to expand Link acceptance, improve authorization rates, and unlock new payment capabilities.
•Develop deep expertise in card network and issuer landscapes (scheme rules, tokenization frameworks, authentication protocols, competitive dynamics) to inform strategy.
•Lead partnerships enabling Link as the payments layer for agentic commerce, including establishing rules, liability frameworks, and technical standards for agent-initiated transactions.
•Coordinate cross-functionally (Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Security) to create and execute partner strategy and shape Link’s payments product roadmap.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, corporate development, or a related field.
•Experience negotiating commercial deals with partners and scaling them across multiple partners.
•Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, including at executive levels.
•Technical acumen to understand product strategy and translate it into partnership requirements for scaling products.
•Experience developing partnership strategies and identifying, sourcing, and analyzing new partnership opportunities in greenfield segments.
