Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, and deploy resilient backend microservices in Java (Spring Boot) and build intuitive, accessible frontends using React and TypeScript.
  • •Create centralized tools that aggregate data across multiple fincrime topologies to provide a unified 360-degree customer risk view.
  • •Own and develop common components of risk mitigation handling to enable scalable, standardized workflows for Servicing Agents.
  • •Scale servicing and compliance operations by breaking down bottlenecks and delivering adaptable platform solutions for other teams to evolve.
  • •Take end-to-end product ownership: identify problems, empathize with stakeholders, plan execution, and ship to production.

Salary: GBP 87,500 - 111,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Strong engineering background in Java or other JVM languages.
  • •Experience building performant, responsive web applications using React and TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • •Strong coding standards with clean, scalable, testable code, including test coverage best practices and the test pyramid concept.
  • •Experience designing and implementing distributed, concurrent systems and understanding architecture tradeoffs (stateful/stateless, synchronous/asynchronous).
  • •Ability to break down complex projects into incremental milestones that deliver customer value, with empathy for users and stakeholders.
