Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish, lead, and scale the Resident Product Engineering (RPE) organization at AMP2 aligned to the AMP1 operating model.
  • •Own end-to-end product issue triage for vehicles in production, including problem definition, containment, RCA, and PCA recommendation/validation/closure.
  • •Serve as the single point of entry for all manufacturing product-related escalations and ensure clear prioritization.
  • •Partner with Manufacturing Operations, Quality, Supplier Quality, and plant leadership to resolve issues impacting safety, quality, throughput, cost, and launch readiness.
  • •Execute governance using the RASIC framework, lead cross-functional workstream prioritization, and provide executive-level updates on systemic issues, risk exposure, and progress.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or related); Master’s preferred.
  • •15+ years of engineering experience in a plant environment supporting multiple vehicle launches.
  • •Proven leadership experience in plant-embedded/resident engineering organizations.
  • •Strong hands-on experience with product issue triage and RCA/PCA methodologies.
  • •Experience managing cross-functional escalation and resolution across manufacturing, quality, supplier, and engineering organizations.
