Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical leadership for formation evaluation, reservoir characterization, and petrophysical analysis for an IAM-managed oil and gas asset.
  • •Develop and apply advanced formation evaluation techniques and integrate multi-source data to generate reservoir property models.
  • •Perform petrophysical analyses to determine porosity, permeability, water saturation, and hydrocarbon volumes; evaluate lithologies and fluid types.
  • •Provide technical oversight for wireline and LWD logging operations and post-job evaluations, ensuring data integrity and standardized workflows.
  • •Participate in internal/external reviews and mentor less experienced geoscientists while promoting best practices and digital tools in petrophysics.

Key Requirements

  • •Undergraduate degree in petroleum engineering, geology, or applied sciences.
  • •Minimum 10 years of experience in petrophysical evaluation, including oil & gas operators, service companies, or consulting.
  • •Field development and reservoir management experience on a producing field for an oil & gas operator.
  • •Extensive experience in clastic and/or carbonate reservoirs; exposure to mature or brownfield assets preferred.
