Prepare and analyze cost estimates for data center infrastructure projects, including ELV/BMS/Fire/Security/ICT scope. Interpret blueprints and specifications, perform structured cabling take-offs, and build BOQs and BOMs. Collaborate with project engineers, field operations, procurement, and vendors to validate quantities, labor rates, and quotes. Support RFP bid preparation, maintain historical cost databases, and analyze change orders to ensure accurate, compliant, profitable delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist in preparing cost estimates, bills of materials (BOMs), and labour projections for data center construction and infrastructure projects.
•Estimate BMS, Fire, Security, ELV & ICT packages, including input studies, RFI generation, equipment take-offs, device selection, solution design, and controller/server sizing.
•Interpret blueprints, specifications, and scope documents to determine project requirements.
•Collaborate with project engineers, field operations, and procurement to validate material quantities, labour rates, and vendor quotes.
•Perform take-offs for structured cabling plus electrical and mechanical systems; support bid preparation and submission for RFPs and proposals, maintain historical cost data, and analyze change orders.

Key Requirements

•Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.
•7–10 years in estimating, project coordination, or data center construction (internships or field experience acceptable).
•Knowledge of Division 27 construction specifications in ISP environments.
•Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, or cabling systems used in mission-critical facilities.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, and estimating software (e.g., Trimble–Accubid or PlanSwift), plus ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
