Job Summary

Work on TikTok’s Monetization SRE team to build and run large-scale, globally distributed, fault-tolerant ads systems. Improve the full lifecycle from system design to launch, deployment, operations, and refinement. •Engage in and improve the lifecycle of ads systems from system design through launch reviews, deployment, operation, and refinement.

•Measure and monitor availability, latency, and overall service health.
•Practice sustainable incident response and postmortems.

Key Requirements

•Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
•Expertise in Unix/Linux operating systems and IP networking.
•Programming experience in at least one of: C, C++, Java, Python, Perl, or Go.
•Experience with problem-solving for application issues or production operations.
•Experience automating routine tasks, with effective communication and strong ownership.
•Intern experience in SRE of ads/recommendation systems; experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
