Key Responsibilities

  • •Refine SHA 2011 methodology for SRHR expenditure tracking, including SRHR classifications, coding structures, and technical guidance.
  • •Support piloting of the refined SRHR expenditure tracking methodology during National Health Accounts exercises and review pilot outputs.
  • •Compile, organize, and quality-assure NHA datasets, including Health Accounts Production Tool (HAPT) files, and develop standardized dataset management procedures.
  • •Analyze NHA data to generate evidence on SRHR financing trends and health expenditure patterns across countries and over time.
  • •Contribute to dissemination through country briefs, presentations, technical reports, and policy-oriented summaries for regional learning activities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 8,500 monthly

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience in health financing, health expenditure tracking, National Health Accounts, or health economics.
  • •Demonstrated experience working with the SHA 2011 framework and National Health Accounts production.
  • •Proven ability to analyze health expenditure data and produce analytical reports using large datasets and quantitative methods.
  • •Advanced knowledge of SHA 2011, with strong data management and statistical analysis skills.
  • •Expert knowledge of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is desirable.
