Job Summary

Assist licensed physiotherapists by delivering patient care and developing Physiotherapy Care Plans using treatment techniques, with or without assistive devices. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to maintain mobility, reduce pain, and promote healthier, more active lifestyles through structured therapy sessions and patient education in a busy hospital setting.

Job Function: Administration & Executive Assistance

Key Responsibilities

•Assist with initial and comprehensive patient care assessments and follow-up assessments following APTA standards.
•Provide physiotherapy services and modalities as indicated by the treatment care plan and clinical policy.
•Collaborate with Consultants, Senior Physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
•Ensure safety and proper use of physiotherapy equipment, inventory management, and adherence to infection control procedures.
•Educate patients and relatives on physiotherapy care plans, goals, and home exercises; participate in quality improvement activities.

Key Requirements

•Diploma in Physiotherapy/Physical Therapy or a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Physiotherapy and/or Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy.
•Current license of practice in the country of origin or country of hire and/or Dubai Health Authority (DHA), United Arab Emirates.
•Minimum of two (2) years experience post-certification as a Junior Physiotherapist/Physical Therapist.
•Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
