Key Responsibilities

  • •Transport equipment and materials by driving tractor-trailer combinations or trucks while complying with health, safety, environmental standards and DOT regulations.
  • •Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle condition by reporting defects, accidents, violations, or damages to supervisors.
  • •Secure cargo for transport and maneuver vehicles into loading/unloading positions following loading signals.
  • •Maintain required logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • •Receive dispatch instructions, obtain receipts/signatures for deliveries, and provide backup assistance in the yard as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s license (depending on the available position).
  • •Valid Medical Card.
  • •24 months verifiable Class A or B driving experience within the last 5 years.
  • •No more than two moving violations in the last 3 years and no more than one preventable accident in the last 3 years.
  • •Must be registered in the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse and be able to use/learn automated systems such as electronic logs.
