Job Summary

Coordinate and oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and ELV/ICT activities for a large-scale, client-facing construction project in Dubai. You’ll support on-site supervision and delivery by monitoring MEP progress versus schedule, reviewing plans and submissions, resolving technical and interface issues, and tracking risks, RFIs, and corrective actions. Work closely with contractors, consultants, project controls, QA/QC, and commissioning teams to ensure safe, on-time execution and readiness for handover.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate and oversee MEP construction activities across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, ELV/ICT, and related building services.
•Support site supervision, planning, scheduling, and delivery of MEP works in coordination with project management teams.
•Monitor MEP progress against approved schedules, look-ahead plans, milestones, and delivery targets; update and validate sequencing and dependencies.
•Coordinate with contractors, consultants, discipline engineers, project controls, vendors, and client representatives to align MEP execution and resolve interface issues.
•Review MEP plans and submissions (method statements, inspections/tests, shop drawings, RFIs, material submittals) and support technical resolution, QA/QC closeout, and commissioning/handovers.

Key Requirements

•20+ years of experience coordinating MEP and supporting project management/construction supervision, planning, scheduling, or construction management for large-scale projects.
•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
•Strong experience supervising and coordinating MEP construction activities on large-scale projects.
•Proven experience in construction scheduling, planning, sequencing, progress monitoring, and coordination of complex MEP works.
•Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems (e.g., HVAC, chilled water, plumbing, fire protection, power distribution, generators, UPS, switchgear, lighting, low-current systems, BMS).
