Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the AI processing pipeline architecture, reliability, observability, and cost efficiency for a chained asynchronous multi-stage system.
  • •Drive full-stack feature work across Laravel (backend) and React (frontend), not just reviewing code.
  • •Operate and maintain the AWS infrastructure end to end (ECS, Aurora, S3 and supporting services), including monitoring, incident response, and bill control.
  • •Ensure SOC 2 Type 2 compliance activities like evidence collection, control remediation, access reviews, and backup restoration testing.
  • •Lead and grow a small team of engineers through code review, technical direction, unblocking, and mentoring.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 4,000 - 5,000 monthly

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years building and running production full-stack systems with genuine comfort in both Laravel and React.
  • •Strong PHP/Laravel experience (or strong equivalent in another modern backend framework) with a real willingness to work in Laravel.
  • •Hands-on AWS ownership for ECS, Aurora/RDS, plus monitoring, incident response, and cost optimization.
  • •Experience with asynchronous job processing (queues, workers, retries, idempotency, dead-letter handling).
  • •Production experience with the OpenAI API, including handling non-deterministic outputs and controlling token cost at scale.
