Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform and document inspections for static and rotating equipment and associated HVAC/ducting installation and testing against approved ITPs, drawings, vendor manuals, and specifications.
  • •Verify receipt condition, preservation, installation, leveling/alignment, and final acceptance of mechanical equipment.
  • •Inspect HVAC/ducting installation (supports, joints, interfaces, cleanliness, and insulation readiness) and witness duct leakage/pressure testing.
  • •Review testing, including TAB results, against approved procedures and acceptance criteria; raise QOCs/NCRs, verify corrective actions, and support handover readiness.
  • •Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, contractors, vendors, and Client QC; maintain quality reporting and records, and escalate high-risk or repeat issues through the EPCM quality organization.

Key Requirements

  • •Mechanical engineering degree/diploma (or equivalent technical qualification).
  • •Minimum 5 years of relevant mechanical QC/inspection experience on industrial EPC/EPCM projects.
  • •Demonstrated experience with installation, alignment, and preservation of static and rotating equipment.
  • •Ability to interpret equipment drawings, HVAC layouts, vendor manuals, tolerances, ITPs, and inspection/test records.
  • •Practical ducting/HVAC systems installation and testing experience is advantageous.
