Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor and triage DLP alerts across email, endpoint, Teams/SharePoint/OneDrive, and applicable cloud activity.
  • •Review alert context to validate true positives vs. false positives, collect evidence, and document outcomes clearly.
  • •Assist with user/business contact engagement for additional context or justification when needed, in consultation with the Insider Threat team.
  • •Escalate confirmed high-risk or repeat data loss events to appropriate leaders and teams (e.g., Incident Response, Insider Risk).
  • •Support DLP operations reporting and identify automation opportunities for repetitive investigation, evidence collection, notifications, routing, and case closure.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of experience in cyber security.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
  • •Foundational understanding of data protection, information security, security operations, incident handling, and enterprise collaboration platforms.
  • •Preferred exposure to Microsoft Purview DLP and Microsoft 365 security/compliance tools, plus SIEM and ticketing/case management workflows.
  • •Strong written communication and analytical skills to document investigation findings in an audit-ready manner.
