Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the safe transport of flight hardware and modules between SpaceX facilities, including transit and hand-off operations.
  • •Supervise the transport crew, including logistics technicians, tiller operators, spotters, and contracted vendors.
  • •Review transportation documentation and develop contingency plans to mitigate risk.
  • •Travel with assigned flight hardware during long-haul transports and serve as the primary point of contact for in-transit decisions.
  • •Utilize heavy equipment to load/unload and stage hardware, and maintain inspections, work instructions, procedures, and transport performance metrics.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •1+ years of experience working with load transport and inventory processes.
  • •1+ years of hands-on experience preparing loads, rigging, and packaging.
  • •Must be bridge (overhead) crane certified within the first 180 days.
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to meet travel, physical, and background check requirements for access.
