Job Summary

Perform a variety of hands-on duties on construction projects and/or concrete plants, working in a utility capacity as needs arise. Ensure a safe work environment and comply with company safety policies, OSHA, and MSHA requirements, using appropriate tools and PPE. Assist crews with shoveling and raking, operating basic equipment as needed, signaling equipment operators, and supporting materials placement, movement, and traffic control setup. Report problems to site leadership.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure a safe work environment and follow company safety policies using appropriate tools and PPE.
•Follow company policies and OSHA regulations for safe work procedures and environment.
•Assist construction crews with tasks such as shoveling and raking, running a wheelbarrow, and safely backing/dumping trucks.
•Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and materials placement.
•Follow foreman direction for daily tasks and expectations; may run small power tools (e.g., jack hammer) and assist with materials leveling and traffic control device placement.
