Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform a variety of tasks supporting project staff on archaeological projects.
  • •Gather and maintain specified records of scientific data, including environmental sampling and client site operations/maintenance/inspections.
  • •Assist with calculations, set up and operate equipment, and inspect equipment/installations for compliance with specifications.
  • •Collect and enter data and apply technical principles and theories under supervision.
  • •Maintain proper project documentation and support supervisory record-keeping activities.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate plus 2 years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency) in archaeological fieldwork.
  • •Valid US Driver's License and pre-employment driving record verification required.
  • •US Citizenship required.
  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or a related field (preferred).
  • •3+ years of experience with archaeological survey, testing, excavation, and monitoring, plus familiarity with geospatial tools (GPS/GIS) and Microsoft Office (preferred).
