Key Responsibilities

  • •Anchor daily newscasts across television, streaming, and digital platforms with accurate, engaging, credible content.
  • •Present breaking news and special coverage using strong ad-libbing skills and sound editorial judgment.
  • •Research, write, shoot, edit, and report original stories from the studio and field.
  • •Generate and pitch enterprise and community-focused story ideas and contribute to editorial meetings.
  • •Develop community contacts and sources; write and produce content across TV, digital, social media, and streaming platforms; maintain a digital and community presence.

Key Requirements

  • •Fluency in Spanish and English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • •Minimum 5 years of television anchor/reporter experience.
  • •BA/BS in Journalism, Communications, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • •Excellent on-air presence, writing, news judgment, and live reporting skills.
  • •Ability to ad-lib and make sound editorial decisions under deadline pressure.
