Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead electrical engineering design work on assigned protection and controls projects for substations and HV systems
  • •Mentor other electrical engineers in High Voltage/Power team and facilitate internal trainings
  • •Collaborate with Project Engineer/Project Manager to develop design schedules and budgets for electrical work
  • •Perform power system studies and system protection settings coordination for projects
  • •Generate basis of design documentation for protection settings and relay configurations

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; 6 years of relevant protection and controls experience

  • •8+ years of experience with 2+ years as a project lead (preferred)
  • •Knowledge of FERC and NERC requirements and IEC61850
