Key Responsibilities

  • •Assemble, disassemble, troubleshoot, and replace aerospace vehicle components using aerospace maintenance practices and product specifications.
  • •Perform organizational and intermediate-level maintenance including flight line tasks, inspections, component repair, test set operation, battery charging, and scheduled periodic inspections.
  • •Independently conduct functional/diagnostic tests and troubleshooting of aerospace/missile systems using monitoring instruments and bench/automated test equipment.
  • •Perform validation/verification testing and determine root causes of initial or isolated failures, including fault isolation for mechanical or electrical issues.
  • •Lead assembly/disassembly/overhaul functions and plan/coordinate other technicians’ activities; document repairs, test results, and modifications for contractual and regulatory compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 6 years’ experience with C-17 maintenance (FCC, flight line or HSC work).
  • •Must be able to work one of three shifts Monday through Friday, weekends, and holidays as required to support flight line maintenance.
  • •Avionics background.
  • •Bachelor's degree.
  • •Demonstrated ability to perform troubleshooting, functional/diagnostic testing, and validation/verification of systems and components.
