Key Responsibilities

  • •Take technical ownership of accounting infrastructure projects, including designing and building backend services, data pipelines, and integrations for financial reporting, reconciliation, and close workflows.
  • •Partner with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to translate financial and regulatory requirements into reliable, auditable, automated systems.
  • •Shape team architecture and engineering best practices, mentoring junior engineers and raising the technical bar.
  • •Drive measurable improvements in data accuracy, pipeline reliability, and system performance in a compliance-critical environment.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in software or data engineering, owning and delivering complex backend or data infrastructure projects.
  • •Deep expertise in distributed systems and data engineering with hands-on experience using tools like Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran (or similar).
  • •Ability to bridge engineering and finance by understanding revenue recognition, reconciliation, and auditability well enough to build compliant systems.
  • •Strong collaboration skills and a low-ego approach, effectively partnering with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • •Familiarity with SOX controls, data quality frameworks, or financial systems such as NetSuite (strong plus).
